Follow Me Don't Follow Me.

Monday 27 July 2009
8.50 am
· It is interesting watching different people deal with someone that wants to argue, I was the one walking out of the room into another part of the house...within 5 minutes everyone was hiding with me and we laughed.
· My daughter is leaving to visit her father’s family in Western Australia. I am afraid that she will never come back.
· During my holidays all I did was look at real estate and now I am dreaming about floor plans.
· I have been tempted to return to the dark side.
· I am typing this list when I should be doing homework, laundry, drying my hair and making myself a coffee.
· My graphics tablet is not working and I cannot re install the software that would fix it, as it is buried and locked away with all my other junk at a storage unit in Camperdown.I hate storage.

2.29 pm
· I am bored and need something, anything to happen.
· I am sick of looking at 1 bedroom flats and wish I could look at 2 bedroom houses (with a little garden would be perfect).
· My list is all complaints so far BUT my neck hurts, sorry.
· I am thankful for the friends and family that I have around me they make me laugh, give advice and they tell you that you are looking good and doing well and these are things I REALLY need to hear right now.
· I had a nice weekend with Ben, Amanda and Lili... We walked, talked and had lunch together which was lovely.
· I think I should stop writing this list as all I can think of now is more negative crap and my brain has stopped working.
I need to find my nest.
I have become numb with it all and it is all nothing.

Life Is Good

I am happy.
Life is amazing really.
Just when you think you have things worked out you realize something new, something else, another way of looking at things. It is a constant journey, a never ending learning experience. I would not want it any other way.
I have had a lovely morning filled with little things that make me happy
Before he goes to work, Ben tells me how loved I am. I stretch and smile and tell him the same.
I dress and think of coffee. When I open the door I am greeted by Billy and Lola the little girls’ next door they have drawn me a picture in coloured chalk on the footpath to say thank you for the one I drew for them last night while they slept.
I walk to the bakery and George, on the coffee machine, smiles and says my name. We chat and laugh as he makes my, and ten other peoples coffees.
On the way home I stop in at the local corner store to pick up a few things. The shop keeper and I have a silly conversation ending every statement with the word – Please.
How are you please?
Have a nice day please
I walk towards home. Turning into our little street I see the chalk shadows that Ben and I drew last night in the middle of the road.
I smile a big smile
I put the key in the door and Lilly greets me with her ‘Pigeon Cat’ purr, she rubs her soft fur against my bare legs.
We sit together, the cat and I, in the sunny spots in the little back yard.
As the sun comes and goes, she cleans. I write.
It is good to be here, it is good to be alive.
It is good to be in this moment.
I am happy

A Beautiful Walk.

I went up to Dad's for a quick visit on the weekend. He seems to be getting along well on his own although I do think that he is a bit lonely sometimes without Mum.
Ben drove me up there and we met up with Rhonda and the dogs Bluey (pictured) and Bella and went for a beautiful walk along the creek near Dad's old place.
We saw lots of frolicking young steers (cattle) some fabulous wombat holes and just marveled at nature, it was great.
I did not want to leave.
In this picture, that Rhonda took, you can see Mt. Tinnagroo in the background.
This is all for now I have been a bit busy with my college course and also a bit down about the lack of comments (I know it is silly of me)
I know that lots of people visit but only a loyal few leave me a message...I almost deleted this blog last night but was talked out of it...It is only human to want feed back... Perhaps I need it more than most due to some kind of childhood trauma... WHO KNOWS?
thanks everyone,

Too Much Coffee AND A Ladybird.
The other day Ben,Kinta and I met up for brunch-It's not quite breakfast. Its not quite lunch but it comes with a slice of cantaloupe-ANYWAY..We met,we ate and then Ben and I dropped Kinta off at her doctors appointment. At brunch Ben had 2 double ristretto coffees, after we left Kinta he had another single ristretto...WELL by the time we all met up again, lets just say, Ben was a bit WIRED and very very funny with it.
This picture was inspired by his younger brother Chris. Chris was trying out my newest batch of Copic pens and I watched, from the other side of the table, as he drew a little face and then added a speech bubble. I asked Chris what he had drawn. He said-
"It is a picture of Ben."
"What is he saying?" I asked.
Well,the answer is as above.
We all discuss Family Guy quite a bit. We have all seen every episode and sometimes get strange looks from curious onlookers as we quote classic Family Guy lines to each other. Unfortunately Ben seems to be unable to stop and eventually drives us all slightly crazy-er.
This day was no exception.
But it was such a nice day and I would not want to change a thing.
Well maybe the $185 dollar parking tickets 2 of us received. I'd change THAT!
This is the cute little ladybird that I copied from Kintas new winter pyjamas. It was sooooo cute I could not resist sharing it with you.
Go and check THIS out. I Love this guys stuff...ooooooh baby.

I Have Confidence In Sunshine...I'm Being Sarcastic Again.

Does anyone actually like my drawings?..sigh
When I was younger my sarcasm was funny and accepted, mostly because I come from a line of sarcastic and cheeky people,BUT... as I have grown older It has sometimes been a bit of a problem...I'm sorry to say that people just do not get 'it' and I am left to explain myself time and time again....or not....
Yesterday my friend Ben called. He had just scored himself a new job, close to home, and said that I should come on down as they were looking for more people to work the floor and someone to work in the kitchen as a kitchen hand... SO... I went down there at the requested time and the Owner ,a rather Impressive Italian gentleman, asked me one question-
" 'Ave you ever worked in a kitchen before? "
It was then that the aforementioned affliction of sarcasm raised it's silly head and I said-
" Why yes! I have been in the kitchen since I was 18 "
WELL....It was then in that awful moment that I realised what I had done. The rather impressive Italian gentleman called his beautiful wife over and he announced to her that I had YEARS of experience working in kitchens (literally I do but not the type that he , and now his wife, thinks)
They were all excited, shifts were being discussed at warp speed and although I did try to explain that I would prefer to work the tables, it was no good and I was asked to return TODAY to be shown the kitchen by a little guy with a 'Kill me now' expression.
It all just happened soooooo fast. I am uncomfortable at the best of times with, let just say untruths, but this was OUT OF CONTROL and I don't like out of control.
I will let you know how it all goes. Part of me says that it can not be rocket science and I will be fine...The other part is imagining myself being coaxed out of a small cupboard by an emergency services guy with a soothing voice.
Later, at home,I told Alan and he said- "I have confidence in you"
It was then sarcasm returned and I launched into a few lines of that song from The Sound Of Music-
Come on all together now you know the words
I have confidence in sunshine
I have confidence in rain
I have confidence that Spring will come again
Besides which you see I have confidence in MEEEEEEEEEEE
No really, I did.

Ben Found A Camouflage Jacket. [Back from EEE-rack]
Ben says that it looks like his pants are falling down in the above picture.
I said "Isn't that the way you kids are wearing your pants these days?"

Ben in his "Back From EEE-rack" jacket
PLEASE. CAN YOU HELP?
I want to get my comics bigger but they keep going blurry when I do.
Is there anyone out there that is willing and able to help?
Please send me an email through the link on my profile page.
Thanks

Claytons Post. The Post You Post When You Really Have Nothing To Post (Try saying that fast)

Things are starting to look up
It is quite cold here this morning.I say 'quite' because i just know that some of you on the other side of the world will be saying..
"How could she possibly be cold in Australia?" OR "Cold? She does not know the meaning of cold"
Well in my defence it IS cold and even though i have been to other parts of the planet and experienced being REALLY cold i guess it is just what you are used to and, well, there is always going to be somewhere colder isn't there?
Unless of course if you live in Antarctica then there is nowhere colder , YOU WIN and i am just a whinger.
But i digress. It is cold and this has made me happy,it means that i can wear all my winter clothes and best of all my favorite scarf...i love that scarf
Oh and the winter coat i bought late last winter and did not really get to wear that much.
I am also happy as when i returned home yesterday there was a little card in the letter box that says i have an item of registered mail at the post office...now this is a complete mystery to me and could possibly turn out to be something totally lame BUT I'm excited anyway.
Oh and Ben is coming over to drive me to said post office, and spending time with Ben is lots of fun and always makes me happy.
I am uplifted by the everyday.
xox eve xox
P.s. I also learnt a new word. It is,Drum roll please... Crapooping. Find out more over at monkee makers place
And i must thank Weasel for the picture
Thanks Weasel,your sooooo Fine.
Just to let you know the registered post thingy was NOT for me but for my daughter Kinta...so that was EXTREMELY LAME...lame for me ...but now i am excited for kinta and can not wait for her to get home and open it...perhaps there is chocolate in there...maybe
AND the trip to the post office with Ben and the coffee afterwards was lots of fun..Thanks Ben xox

australia day(better late than never)
I went to Bronte beach with a friend of mine Ben
we had the now traditional sandwiches with ham, mayo, cream cheese, avocado and baby spinnach leaves. We also had lammingtons that we bought early on the day then we proceded to people watch pointing out the bad speedo and bikini wedgies,we exercised our democratic right to give dead arm (we did this quite alot) and we swam in the beautiful Bronte sea pool...we especially enjoyed watching 3 girls(a-la paris hilton) trying to assemble a B.B.Q with gas bottle.I think it took them 2 hours to have it 'looking' o.k but they never actually used it...ANYWAY i wish i had done the stick on tattoo thing like my friendAmanda they look like fun..i will make this part of next years festivities
Believe it or not this post was PART of an enormous comment that i left on Amanda's blog...sorry about that Amanda. xox
