A Holiday (I Use The Term Loosely) and Deprivation of Nicotine.

Kinta and I went down to Narooma,on the south coast of New South Wales.

We went on a really brilliant 8 km walk and saw some beautiful coastline and countryside.

We had, what i would consider, the worst coffee in the known universe.

Now I have had bad coffee before and I usually end up drinking it,albeit reluctantly, but this coffee was soooooooo bad and hot that it did not survive after the first sip.

Oh god! I am becoming one of THOSE people...A coffee snob

Things are starting to look up


It is quite cold here this morning.I say 'quite' because i just know that some of you on the other side of the world will be saying..
"How could she possibly be cold in Australia?" OR "Cold? She does not know the meaning of cold"
Well in my defence it IS cold and even though i have been to other parts of the planet and experienced being REALLY cold i guess it is just what you are used to and,well,there is always going to be somewhere colder isn't there?

Unless of course if you live in Antarctica then there is nowhere colder , YOU WIN and i am just a whinger.

But i digress. It is cold and this has made me happy,it means that i can wear all my winter clothes and best of all my favorite scarf...i love that scarf

Oh and the winter coat i bought late last winter and did not really get to wear that much.

I am also happy as when i returned home yesterday there was a little card in the letter box that says i have an item of registered mail at the post office...now this is a complete mystery to me and could possibly turn out to be something totally lame BUT I'm excited anyway.

Oh and Ben is coming over to drive me to said post office,and spending time with Ben is lots of fun and always makes me happy.



I am uplifted by the everyday.

Just to let you know the registered post thingy was NOT for me but for my daughter Kinta...so that was EXTREMELY LAME...lame for me ...but now i am excited for kinta and can not wait for her to get home and open it...perhaps there is chocolate in there...maybe

The Resemblance is Uncanny...(Without Cans)

My Friend Bulldog drew this fabby-do comic and I LOVE IT
(it went a little blurry when i enlarged it sorry)

The Bulldog is convinced that i am some sort of spy/peeping tom
That i am peering in at windows and gleaning information of a highly sensitive and personal nature... whilst apparently leaving tell tale lipstick marks on the windows (see comic)
Information that i spring on him whilst chatting on line
Information such as-

• he has a cat (there is a photo of said cat with pet dog at the top left of his blog)
• he likes the movie 'Withnail and I' (He has listed this movie in the 'Favorite Movies' section on his Profile page)
• he has a pretty groovy looking bike (He told me about said bike in a comment he left on one of my posts,it also appeared in a photo he linked to when talking about cleaning up his 'office')
• And other stuff too!!

The bulldog has become quite concerned as to HOW i know all these personal details

I shall never reveal my source.

All that i can say in my own defence is this-

I AM ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PLANET

I DO NOT WEAR LIPSTICK

I'm innocent,innocent i tells ya!

I've been FRAMED...and I'm loving every single minute of it.
